Brussels Workshop to explore improving access and quality to health services for migrant and ethnic minorities


25 September 2015 -- The EC-funded project Training packages for health professionals to improve access and quality of health services for migrants and ethnic minorities, including the Roma (MEM-TP) will hold a Dissemination Workshop in Brussels on the 2nd of October 2015 at the Borschette Centre in Brussels. The goal of this project is to review, develop, test and evaluate training for health professionals to prepare them to better care for these population groups.

The workshop is being organized by the Andalusian School of Public Health, the Migration Health Unit of the IOM Regional Office Brussels, and the European Public Health Alliance.

The event is financed by the EU’s Health Programme 2008-2013 and is managed by the Consumers, Health, Agriculture and Food Executive Agency (CHAFEA) and the European Commission's DG for Health &Food Safety.
