Regional Immigration and Border Management Specialist
Baptiste provides policy advice and technical support to IOM EEA country offices on IBM programming. He also liaises with EU institutions and EEA Member States on IBM matters, including Humanitarian Border Management, Health Border Mobility & Management, Integrated Border Management, Trade & Border Management, Community Engagement & Policing, Legal Identity, Family Reunification, Visa Solutions, Readmission, Regularization, Asylum and Return.
Before joining the Regional Office in Brussels in 2020, Baptiste worked at IOM Niger, IOM Tunisia and IOM Burkina Faso in different capacities on IBM activities, as well as supporting the IOM Regional Office in Pretoria and IOM's Headquarters. Prior to IOM, Baptiste worked with UNACT in Lao PDR on counter‑trafficking and with the UN RC Office in Kosovo.
Baptiste holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations from the Catholic University of Lille.
