Title: Call for Applications – Migration and Development Cooperation Consultant

This is a call to carry out a consultancy for the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in the framework of the project funded by the European Union: ‘Guidelines on Mainstreaming Migration into International Cooperation and Development Policy’.
The objective of the assignment is to undertake an assessment of the extent of migration mainstreaming in development cooperation in key sectors three project pilot countries (Ecuador, Madagascar and Nepal). The assessment will focus on four priority sectors: Rural Development, Urban Development, Education, and Employment. Of these four, two sectors per country will be analysed, namely:
- Ecuador: Employment and Urban Development
- Nepal: Rural Development and Education
- Madagascar: Rural Development and Urban Development
The assessment should analyse the extent to which migration is included in key policies and programmes, where the gaps are, and make recommendations for integrating migration based on this. The final report will be presented in a series of one-day workshops in the three countries.
