Senior Regional Migrant Protection and Assistance Specialist

Laurence analyzes regional thematic trends, supports liaison among the European Commission and EU Member States and centrals Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration Programmes at the regional level.

Before joining the IOM Regional Office in Brussels in 2017, Laurence worked in Western Africa between 2008 and 2015 where she contributed to drafting national migration policies and responses to mobility related challenges related to Libya, Ebola outbreak and internal displacements, amon others. She has been working in stabilization and mobility related issues in the Balkans, Afghanistan as well as other Asian and African countries and has covered multi-country missions.

Laurence holds a Master's Degree in Geopolitics from Université de Paris 8 and a Master in History from Université René Descartes in Strasbourg.
