Implementing ACP-EU Cooperation on Migration and Development: good practices and lessons learned

This publication summarizes the good practices and lessons learned from the ACP-EU Migration Action programme.

Throughout its implementation from 2014 to 2019, this IOM programme worked with governments, regional organizations and non-State actors (NSAs) to strengthen African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) States’ capacities in a range of areas of migration governance, thereby operationalizing the recommendations of the ACP-EU Dialogue on Migration and Development, while at the same time building knowledge and facilitating exchange between diverse stakeholders.

This publication aims to capitalize on the extensive knowledge that the programme gathered to provide stakeholders with a synthesis of the programme’s success factors and innovative initiatives, as well as outlining a forward-looking analysis of ACP-EU cooperation on Migration and Development, and its linkages with global developments.
